Thunder Tower Harley-Davidson

Went in for a FOB. Inspection revealed I needed a rear tire, so I had that done too. Get the bike home, my tender lead is nowhere to be found. I even took off the side covers and looked for it. 3 experienced bikers also looked for it, to no avail. Not sure why it’s not hanging on the left hand side of the bike where it was when it went in to service. The next day, I rode the bike to do a veteran funeral escort. Standing in the parking lot, I notice oil sprayed all over the side of my bike - pipes, saddlebag, everywhere. Investigation reveals someone removed the oil cap and didn’t replace it properly. No one other than Thunder Tower has done any work on my bike, or been anywhere near it. The following day, I call Thunder Tower to advise them of the issues and see if the tech can shed some light on where he routed my tender lead. Thunder Towers response was deny, deny, deny, then talk down to me like I’m stupid and don’t know where my tender lead should be. I’ve been riding Harley’s for 45 years, and know exactly where it should be - it should be where it was when I brought the bike in for service, and if it’s not there, it should be accessible, not hidden where neither I, nor 3 fellow riders who also attempted to find it could not locate it. Now, thanks to my decision to pay Thunder Tower to replace my rear tire, I get to spend my time and effort to not only clean the oil off my bike, but to also figure out where in gods name the technician buried the tender lead, which he had no reason to even touch in order to replace the tire. Lesson learned - Thunder Tower is NOT the place to go.

It was one of nice dealer stores that we stopped by to look around and get shirts & pokerchips... Gift shop staffs were really nice & friendly. They have varies of t-shirts with old Panhead & Nuckelhead. Nice outside event area & playground. Others service & sale dept, we didn't care much... Nobody came talked to us while we were looking at all the bikes. They were Not even say hi or bye when we walked by orin and out, they just looked...(like... Oh..not my regular customers) I can say they don't have any old bikes or any Harley historical bike show at all. All I saw just pictures on the walls like others that can just print it out... Nothing really unique about the store.

If I had the money I’d buy another bike from here again in a heartbeat. Everyone I worked with was professional, passionate about their job, friendly, and supportive of their customers. It felt like a genuine family and as a first time bike-buyer I felt instantly like I was part of a community once I committed to buying a bike. Not once did I feel like an employee was “at work 😒” it felt like they chose to be there because they just simply wanted to. Amy, the salesperson I spoke with the majority of my time there was incredible. She was professional and very knowledgeable about her job and how to get me started, she was very friendly and authentic in conversation. Would 100% recommend buying a bike there to anyone who is even slightly considering it.
